HOW TO DESIGN A WELL-BALANCED SUPERHERO TEAM
How to Create a WELL-BALANCED superhero team: all tips and tricks
Basic things before starting the journey:
1: A black guy is mandatory
2: At least one or two female characters must be in the team.
3: don't make every character look muscular or big ... Leave some of them with short height or slim figure.
1: TANK GUY-
The big gun of your team. He is the one who will lead the offense from the Frontline. He is really powerful. He is going to give your team a solid defense while putting a dent in opponents' team. Give him super strength, super durability and flight (if possible)(Example- Thor, Superman)
2: BACK-UP TANK -
Always remember, your enemies have prepared for your big guy. A backup always helps you in case of the big gun fails. She will clear forward the path for the rest of the team while Saving others from big attacks.
(Example- wonder woman, hulk)
3: TACTICIAN+ LEADER/ MONEY GUY+ BRAIN/TACTICIAN+ LEADER+ MONEY GUY+ BRAIN -This slot is very important for your team. Design a character who can put Excellent tactics and ground level strategies. And the guy who make strategies must have leadership skills. Try to give him least powers or no superpowers. But give him a reserve personality or something everyone would happily follow.
(Example- captain America, batman)
Now if you give this guy money then give him the brains also. The combination always works. He is taking care of all financial problems, damage control, team management, lawyer, veichle, tower, suit e.t.c. also he is going to tech care of the technology and all tech related needs of the team. He is Rich, so he can design whatever he wants. Otherwise the brain guy needs to have permission and support from the money guy to make something.
(Example- Tony Stark, Batman)
Now the last one is quite simple. Put the first to sub-slots in the same guy.
(Example: Batman)
(All rights belong to the author. Copying the characters or using them or this picture will get you in legal trouble.)
4: STEALTH/ NINJA/ PERFECT SOLDIER GUY:
Give him a task and he will complete it at any cost. He has quite some unique power. He can do anything silently kinda guy. Whether it is spying on someone, planting a bomb in the middle of enemy camp or interrogate someone. He can do it with ease. Don't put any kinda Comic relief in this character. He is a perfect soldier. He doesn't smile. Never crack a joke. Just does his job. However in some point give him something emotional. It strucks your audience right in the heart. He has great leadership skills but he is not the team leader.
(Example: Bloodshot, Deathstroke, snake eyes, Daredevil, Martian manhunter, Black widow)
5: MAGICAL ONE/ UNPREDICTABLE ONE:
She is the one who has magical or unpredictable Powers. Even she doesn't know her potential. She unlishes quite strong powers but when the team needed make her abnormally powerful but always remember to make her suffer for that otherwise the team will be unbalanced.
(Example- Scarlet witch, Jean Grey)
6: NEIGHBORLY GUY:
He might be an expert hand to hand combatant and with some sort of technological advancement from the money and brain guy he can put up quite a show. But, his main work is crowd control. He saves normal people in the ground while others are busy fighting criminals. He can be your comic relief too but had a very dark or unhappy past. However he can be smart, brainy but don't make him rich. He does some really stupid things also.
(Example- Hawkeye, spiderman, Nightwing)
And you have your great team ready for action. Now remember one thing. The first two slots are for powerhouses but not overpowered. Your villains have to be overpowered. Then that would be challenging.
